Contact Lens Service

Contact lenses offer a great alternative to glasses. Greater comfort, the ability to play sports, increased field of vision and the option to not change your appearance are just some of the reasons people are choosing contact lenses to correct their vision. We are proud to offer a complete contact lens service with assessments, fittings and aftercare. With a wide range of quality lenses and a dedicated team, we help each of our patients find lenses that are well-suited to their eyes and routine.

Contact Lens Assessments

During your assessment, your optometrist will talk with you about your aims and expectations for using contact lenses and carry out some tests to ensure you can wear contact lenses safely and comfortably. At the end of the session, they will check how your eyesight is affected by contact lenses and you will be able to see how they feel and learn how they can be applied and removed. Contact lens assessments allow your optometrist to gather all the information they need to fit you with the right contact lenses, while for you, it’s an opportunity to see first-hand how they work.

Different Types of Contact Lenses

Contact lenses come in many different types with various options depending on how you want to use them and your eye type. For example, you can choose between daily and monthly disposable opinions and lenses for permanent or occasional use. In this way, you can find lenses that suit your routine and lifestyle.

There is also a variety of lens types for different prescriptions and eye types. This includes single, bifocal and multifocal lenses and lenses for specific eye shapes and conditions, like toric lenses for astigmatism. We supply a wide variety of options, so even if you’re worried that contact lenses may not be right for you, there’s a good chance we’ll be able to fit you with lenses that are comfortable and safe.

Aftercare & Advice

Aftercare appointments are required for contact lens users to ensure that their eyes stay healthy and to keep track of their prescriptions. With aftercare, you can have any problems with your eyes taken care of quickly and effectively. We can also give you plenty of advice and support as you get used to wearing lenses to make your transition as straightforward as possible.
